When I'm not painting in my lovely Dromana Studio, I have another passion which feeds a completely different side of my creativity.  In 2015 I discovered, somewhat by accident, that I love working with metal, melting, hammering, bending and generally commanding that it bend to my will.  In another life I probably was a blacksmith, but in this life I follow a more gentle form of metalsmithing - making jewellery.

I adore working with sterling silver - definitely my favourite medium, but I also love brass and copper, as they are more affordable.  I design and create individual, one-of-a kind pieces that are very wearable everyday, but that are not very dainty or delicate......I love a statement piece of jewellery, I like to stand out and be noticed, so I make pieces for women just like me.

As well as the metals I work with, I incorporate semi precious stones, foraged beach stones, freshwater pearls, anything I find that is durable and beautiful is fair game!

Under my brandname WonkyHeart Studio, you will find my handmade earrings, pendants, bracelets, rings etc in the beautiful Dromana Gallery, 8 Beach St Dromana Vic.  And also at Dromana Indoor Market, Nepean Highway.

Lately I've also been playing with my endless stash of vintage pieces and components, reimagining them into new and creative items I will love wearing, and I will be adding some of them to my stock in both locations.
